As a practice-led researcher, I believe it is through my delight in the pleasure of the materials and processes themselves, along with my desire to endlessly stall the conclusion, that play/art emerges. Through repetition and returns, I hope my objects/projects become heavy with the weight of experience as time and events stack up within the form.

In this voyage of discovery, I find that an experimental co-learning studio space is essential.  Especially in this virtual digital age, the field of sculpture includes a varied collection of working methods and outcomes that no one set of tools is privileged over another. So let us stay passionately curious about the world we have made.

Sculpture, to me, remains a vital way of inquiring the earth we made it out of.
